Sparktopus started with a simple but powerful vision: to help businesses grow through technology. What began as a small venture with big dreams has now evolved into a global IT services and consulting firm.

Our story began in 2022 when three brothers, Emmanuel Oladimeji Masebinu, Isaac Olabode Masebinu, and Johnson Abiodun Masebinu, came together to build their high school’s website on October 25. That moment, though small at the time, sparked a fire that would one day grow into something much bigger.

In those early days, the company was formerly known as Manson Studio. It was our first identity, a name that carried us through the beginning stages of our journey. But as our vision expanded and our mission became clearer, we knew it was time to step into something greater.

On March 28, 2024, Emmanuel Oladimeji Masebinu, Founder and CEO of Sparktopus, officially registered the company as Sparktopus Limited under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020. This marked the turning point where a passionate startup transformed into a recognized technology firm with a bold name and an even bolder vision.

As we grew, we embraced an identity that reflects who we are and what we stand for.

On May 1st, 2025, our journey reached another proud milestone. DesignRush recognized one of the education websites we designed as one of the Best Education Website Designs of 2025. This award is more than just a win, it is proof of the creativity, quality, and dedication our team pours into every project.

Then, on September 3, 2025, our story gained national recognition when Vanguard News featured our Founder and CEO, Emmanuel Oladimeji Masebinu, in an article titled “Sparktopus CEO Emmanuel Masebinu launches global AI-driven IT services firm.” The feature highlighted how Sparktopus is charting a new course by delivering AI-driven IT solutions that integrate automation, cybersecurity, cloud services, web and app development, and digital marketing under one roof. Emmanuel emphasized that technology must do more than solve problems — it must transform how organizations think, scale, and compete. This recognition was a testament to Sparktopus’ commitment to innovation, impact, and global reach.
